FusingX is the high-end butt fusion machine series under Welping, developed primarily for medium- and large-diameter pipeline applications. Compared with standard models, the FX series features a more integrated structure, refined configuration, and a higher level of overall completeness, with operation designed to be more convenient.
Last week, a set of photos was taken of the FX800 butt fusion machine. The images focus on a single machine in its complete configuration. As shown, the FX800 system consists of the main machine frame, hydraulic unit, facer, and heater. The overall layout is clear, with well-balanced proportions between each major component.
The FX800 supports pipe diameters from 450 to 800 mm and is positioned within the FX series for larger-diameter applications.
Compared with the FX630 and smaller models, the FX800 shows some visible differences in external details. One of the most noticeable changes is that the clamping inserts feature a black base with silver-pattern powder coating. In the current configuration, this treatment gives the machine a consistent overall appearance.
Details related to the materials and surface treatment process of the FX800 clamping inserts will be discussed separately in a follow-up article.
At present, the standard FX series covers models up to FX1800. For larger sizes, customized solutions can be provided based on specific project requirements.
